The Datasensing AE1/AP-2A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M8 unshielded NO/PNP configuration, these inductive sensors come with a 2-meter axial cable for flexible installation. The sensor's metal housing ensures durability, while the 360° visible LED status indicator provides clear operational feedback. With an IP67 rating, these sensors are protected against dust and water, making them suitable for harsh environments. The AE1/AP-2A model offers a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 2.02mm. It is optimized for standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, with correction factors for various metals such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensor maintains high accuracy with a thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5%. Designed for proximity functions, the sensor features a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. It operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensor is equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, ensuring robust performance and longevity. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head, the sensor is built to withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. It is EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards and can endure shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27.
