The Datasensing AE1/CN-1F Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M8 shielded NC/NPN connection, these sensors are built with a robust metal housing and a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring. With an IP67 housing protection, they are suitable for harsh environments and offer complete protection against electrical damages. Available in standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing, these sensors cater to various application needs.
The AE1/CN-1F sensors boast a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.21mm, with a standard target size of 8x8mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for different materials, including copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5%, these sensors ensure consistent performance.
Designed for proximity functions, the sensors have an NPN output type with an NC output function and a switching frequency of 5kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors also feature a low output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%.
Equipped with a yellow LED output state indicator, the sensors have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection, ensuring durability and safety. The sensors are designed for shielded mounting and have dimensions of M8 x 1 / L = 50mm, with a weight of 20g. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head material, they can withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C.
The AE1/CN-1F sensors are CE UR approved and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for installation and offer reliable performance in demanding applications.
