Datasensing AK1/A0-3A86 Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/A0-3A86 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded NO cable with a 5m axial connection, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm. They are optimized for standard targets of 24x24mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). Engineered for stability, the sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at UB 24V and Ta=23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. Designed for proximity functions, they feature an NPN/PNP output type with a NO output function and a switching frequency of 150Hz. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current range of 3 to 100mA. The leakage current is minimal at ? 0.8mA, and the output voltage drop is ? 2.8V at 100mA. With a maximum ripple content of ? 10%, the sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility. Built for durability, the sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The shielded mounting and nickel-plated brass housing ensure robust performance, while the 5m PVC cable and PBT active head material provide reliable connections. The sensors are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2, and resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, these sensors are suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. They come with two M18x1 nuts for easy installation, and the dimensions are M18 x 1 with a length of 50mm.
