The Datasensing AK1/CN-2H Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature an M18 unshielded design with a normally closed (NC) NPN output and an M12 connection. They offer a wide range of models, including standard and long-distance options, with output configurations such as cable, M12, and plug cable exits. Available in models with 2, 3, and 4 wires, these sensors also offer ATEX category 3 models upon request and models with complementary output (NO+NC). With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are optimized for a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.45), aluminium (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77). The sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. Hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and the switching frequency is 600Hz. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. They ensure minimal leakage current (? 10?A) and a low output voltage drop (? 1V at 400mA). The sensors are equipped with yellow LED indicators for output state and feature a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, these sensors are designed for durability and reliability. They have a tightening torque of 25Nm and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards. They are resistant to shocks and vibrations, meeting IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, and offer IP67 mechanical protection. Each sensor is supplied with two M18x1 nuts for easy installation.
