The Datasensing AK1/CN-4H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. Featuring an M18 unshielded NC/NPN connection with an M12 plug, these sensors offer a wide range of models, including standard and long-distance options. They are available with cable, M12, and plug cable exits, and come in 2, 3, and 4-wire configurations. For specialized environments, ATEX models, category 3, can be requested. The sensors also offer models with complementary output (NO+NC). With a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating distance of 0 to 9.7mm, these sensors are optimized for precision. They are compatible with standard targets of 36x36mm FE360 and have specific correction factors for materials like copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They feature a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 300Hz. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, the sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and can handle a load current of ? 400mA. They ensure minimal leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1V at 400mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, the sensors are robust and durable. They have a tightening torque of 25Nm and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. With a mechanical protection rating of IP67, they are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards. Each unit comes with two M18x1 nuts for easy installation.
