The Datasensing AK6/BN-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. Featuring a compact M18 short unshielded design, these sensors offer both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) NPN output functions, making them versatile for different operational needs. With a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating range of 0 to 9.7mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 36x36mm FE360. The sensors are equipped with a 2-meter PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity.
Built with robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, these sensors ensure durability and resistance to harsh environments. They operate efficiently within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. The sensors also feature a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and have a high switching frequency of 2kHz.
With a degree of protection rated at IP67, the AK6/BN-4A sensors are resistant to dust and water ingress, making them suitable for challenging industrial settings. They comply with CE and UR approvals and meet EMC compatibility standards as per IEC 60947-5-2. Additionally, they are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
