Datasensing AM1/AN-4H Sensors

The Datasensing AM1/AN-4H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of industrial applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. The standard target size is 24x24mm FE360, and they offer excellent correction factors for different materials: copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71). These sensors feature a robust M12 standard no-flush mount design, with an NPN output type and normally open (NO) output function. They operate at a switching frequency of 2kHz and support an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors are energy-efficient, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. They also ensure minimal power loss with an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA. Built for durability, the sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, providing a high degree of protection (IP67) against dust and water. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments. The sensors are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards and operate efficiently within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensors come with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and they are easy to install with M12 plug connections and a tightening torque of 10Nm. They are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards. Each sensor is supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting.
