The Datasensing AM1/AP-3A8R Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 shielded design, these sensors operate with a NO/PNP output and come with a 10-meter axial cable for flexible installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05). Engineered for stability, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 2kHz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are versatile for various applications. They feature a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, and the sensors can handle a max ripple content of ? 10%. For user convenience, a yellow LED indicates the output state, and the sensors are ready for use with a time delay of ? 50ms. The housing is made of durable nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, and they are designed for shielded mounting.
