Datasensing AM6/CP-3H Sensors

The Datasensing AM6/CP-3H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05). The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AM6/CP-3H model is a short case flush mount sensor with a PNP output type and normally closed (NC) output function. It operates at a switching frequency of 2kHz and supports an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensor is designed to handle a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA. Engineered for durability, the sensor includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. It features a yellow LED indicator for output state and a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. The sensor is shielded for mounting, with dimensions of M12 x 1 and a length of 52.3mm, and weighs 20g. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head, it can withstand a tightening torque of 10Nm and operates within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The AM6/CP-3H is CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards. It is designed to endure shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, and offers IP67 mechanical protection. The sensor comes with two M12x1 nuts for easy installation.
