The Datasensing FAI8/BN-0A Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for various sensing applications with their robust M18 design and versatile features. These sensors operate on a 10...30 Vdc power supply and are available in both axial and radial optic configurations with a flat surface. They are particularly effective in detecting transparent objects, thanks to their retro-reflective models with red emission. With an IP67 protection degree, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, featuring either metallic or plastic housing options.
The FAI8/BN-0A Sensors boast a nominal sensing distance of 1 meter and maintain a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr, ensuring reliable performance. They offer a repeat accuracy of 5% and come equipped with a trimmer for sensitivity adjustment. Utilizing a diffuse reflection principle for long-distance detection (>600mm), these sensors are optimized for white target Kodak 90% 400 x 400mm. The optic position is axial, and the output type is NPN NO+NC, providing both normally open and normally closed functions.
With a switching frequency of 250Hz and a response time of just 2ms, these sensors are designed for fast and accurate detection. They operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10
