The Datasensing FMM1/AN-3H Sensor is a robust inductive sensor designed for precision and reliability in demanding environments. Featuring a full metal M12 housing, this sensor offers a nominal sensing distance of 3mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 2.43mm. It is equipped with an NPN/NO output type and a convenient M12 plug exit for easy connectivity. The sensor is engineered with a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and boasts a high correction factor for various materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel.
With a thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C, the FMM1/AN-3H ensures consistent performance. Its hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and it supports a switching frequency of up to 200Hz. The sensor operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current capacity of ? 200mA. It features a low output voltage drop of ? 1.5V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%.
Designed for durability, the sensor includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The housing and active head are constructed from AISI316L stainless steel, ensuring resistance to harsh conditions. The sensor is shielded for mounting, with dimensions of M12 x 1 and a length of 64.2mm, and it weighs just 20g. It operates within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is rated for mechanical protection at IP68 and IP69K, withstanding shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards.
