The Datasensing MS2/00-0K Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise detection tasks. Featuring a diffuse reflection function with a nominal sensing distance of 100mm, these sensors are ideal for short-distance applications up to 200mm. The sensor's robust construction includes a PBT/PC housing and PMMA active head material, ensuring durability and reliability in various environments. With an M18 diameter and a compact length of 78.6mm, the sensor is easy to install using the included M18 x 1 nuts.
The MS2/00-0K Sensors offer selectable NPN/PNP output types and NO/NC output functions, providing flexibility for different operational requirements. The sensor operates efficiently with a switching frequency of 80Hz and a response time of 6.25ms, ensuring quick and accurate detection. It supports an operating voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, with a no-load supply current of ?40mA and a load current of ?100mA.
Designed to withstand challenging conditions, the sensor is equipped with short-circuit and overvoltage protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection. It maintains performance in high light interference environments, withstanding up to 3000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight. The sensor is rated for an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and offers IP67 mechanical protection, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial settings.
Additional features include a red LED status indicator, a 90° M12 plastic connector, and compliance with CE and cURus approvals. The sensor also meets EMC compatibility standards (EN 60947-5-2) and is tested for vibration and shock resistance (IEC 60068-2-6 / IEC 60068-2-27).
