The Datasensing MSD/00-1A Sensors are high-performance photoelectric sensors designed for precise detection tasks. Featuring a robust metal housing and a 2-meter axial cable, these sensors are engineered for durability and reliability in various industrial environments. With a nominal sensing distance of 32 meters, they offer a wide range of detection models, including diffuse, retro-reflective, polarized, through-beam detection, and background suppression. The through-beam models boast a high sensing range, while retro-reflective models utilize red visible polarized light for enhanced accuracy. These sensors are equipped with a right-angle optic option and fixed distance background suppression models, ensuring versatility in application. The MSD/00-1A sensors provide complete protection against electrical damage, including short-circuit and overvoltage protection, and are designed to withstand external light interference up to 10,000 lux from sunlight. With a response time of 16.66ms and a switching frequency of 30Hz, these sensors ensure quick and reliable operation. The output type is selectable between NPN/PNP and NO/NC, offering flexibility in integration. The sensors are CE and cURus approved, with EMC compatibility according to EN 60947-5-2 standards, and are built to endure shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards. The housing is made from nickel-plated brass with a PMMA active head, providing IP67 mechanical protection, making them suitable for harsh conditions with operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensors come with supplied accessories, including M18 x 1 nuts, ensuring easy installation and secure mounting.
