Datasensing PFM1/BP-3H Sensors

The Datasensing PFM1/BP-3H Sensors are designed with a robust AISI 316L stainless steel housing, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. Equipped with an LED status indicator, these sensors offer reliable performance with IP67, IP68, and IP69K protection degrees, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. The sensors are available in both standard and long-distance models, with ATEX category 3 models available upon request for explosive atmospheres. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.24mm, these sensors are optimized for precision and accuracy. They feature a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offer correction factors for various materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy under 5%, ensuring consistent performance. The PFM1/BP-3H Sensors function as proximity sensors with a PNP output type and NO + NC output function, supporting a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. Designed for shielded mounting, these sensors have dimensions of M12 x 1 with a length of 64.6mm and weigh 30g. The active head is made of PPS material, and the sensors can withstand operating temperatures from -40°C to +80°C, with short exposure up to 100°C during cleaning processes. They are CE, cULus, ECOLAB, and DIVERSEY approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards. The sensors come with two M12x1 nuts for easy installation.
