Datasensing PM3/00-1A Sensors

The Datasensing PM3/00-1A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a robust M12 shielded cable with a 2-meter axial exit, these sensors are ideal for a wide range of applications. They offer a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.62mm, making them suitable for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors are equipped with a DECOUT® output and are available in models with 4 wires, including ATEX category 3 models upon request. Engineered for versatility, the PM3/00-1A sensors support both NPN and PNP output types with NO/NC output functions. They operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a switching frequency of 1kHz. The sensors are designed to handle a load current of up to 100mA, with a no-load supply current of ? 30mA and a leakage current of ? 10?A. They feature a low output voltage drop of ? 1.2V at 100mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Built to withstand challenging environments, these sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an IP67 degree of protection, ensuring durability against dust and water ingress. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The sensors also include a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 100ms. With a compact design measuring M12 x 1 / L = 64.3mm and a weight of 66g, the PM3/00-1A sensors are easy to install using the supplied M12x1 nuts. They are compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 EMC standards and can withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are an excellent choice for reliable proximity detection in industrial settings.
