The SMC 11-LEFS32A-800 is a clean room specification electric actuator from the LEFS series with ball screw drive and 800mm maximum travel stroke. Part number decoded: LEFS = LEFS series ball screw electric actuator, 32 = 32mm width, A = A-type step motor servo 24VDC, 800 = 800mm stroke. This is one of the longest-stroke LEFS configurations available, providing nearly a full meter of precision ball screw travel.

The 800mm stroke enables long-range clean room operations spanning large equipment footprints. Applications include full-width substrate scanning across large panels, inter-bay material transfer in semiconductor tool loading systems, long-range dispensing across wide process areas, and extended-reach pick-and-place for large equipment platforms. At this stroke length, critical speed (maximum screw RPM before ball screw whip) becomes a design consideration — verify that the required traverse speed does not exceed the ball screw's critical speed rating for 800mm unsupported length.

The LEFS32A-800 is the maximum stroke in the LEFS32A range. For shorter strokes at the same width, options include 200mm, 300mm, and 400mm. For maximum stroke at larger width, the LEFS40 series provides 40mm width for higher payloads. For pneumatic long-stroke without electric precision, the CG1 series at 800mm stroke provides two-position actuation. For even longer electric travel, consult SMC for LEY rod-type or LJ linear motor actuators. Requires compatible controller. Clean series (11-). RoHS compliant.
