The SMC 12-MGPL20TN-100Z is a clean room specification compact guide cylinder from the MGPL series with TN non-rotating feature. The TN option adds enhanced anti-rotation to the already-guided MGPL platform.
While the standard MGPL provides dual linear guides that inherently resist rotation, the TN variant adds a precision anti-rotation mechanism that eliminates any residual angular play. This is critical when the cylinder drives precision tooling, alignment fixtures, or workpiece holders where even micro-degrees of rotation would cause positioning errors. The TN table surface provides precision mounting holes for direct tooling attachment with guaranteed angular alignment throughout the stroke.
The MGPL20TN-100Z provides the highest rigidity MGPL at 20mm bore. For the standard MGPL without TN at the same bore, the MGPL20-100Z-M9PL provides base guided operation with auto-switch. For TN at larger bore sizes, the MGPL25TN and MGPL32TN provide increased force. For alternative guided platforms, the CXS TN slide tables provide ball bushing guided non-rotating motion. Auto switches mount in the Z groove (sold separately). Clean series (12-) fluorine grease. RoHS compliant.
