The SMC VV72 manifold base is the dedicated valve island platform for the VS7-8 Series ISO Size 2 solenoid valve — SMC's pilot-operated, 5-port directional control valve conforming to ISO standard interface sizes 1 and 2. VV72 manifolds consolidate multiple VS7-8 valves onto a single ported base, reducing plumbing complexity, panel footprint, and installation labor in pneumatic control systems.
Automation Distribution stocks VV72 manifold bases in configurations spanning 1 through 10 stations, with supply (P) and exhaust (R1, R2) port sizes of 1/2" and 3/4", work port (A, B) sizes of 3/8" and 1/2", and thread options including Rc, NPTF, and G.
