The Datasensing AK1/BP-3H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. These M18 shielded sensors feature both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) PNP output functions, providing versatile connectivity options with cable, M12, and plug cable exits. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. They offer excellent correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.75). The sensors are engineered to withstand challenging environments, with a thermal drift of Sr less than 10%, repeat accuracy under 5%, and a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%. They operate efficiently at a switching frequency of 300Hz and a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1V @400mA, ensuring energy efficiency. Built with robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, these sensors are designed for durability and longevity. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The sensors are IP67 rated for mechanical protection, making them resistant to dust and water ingress. Additional features include yellow LED indicators for output state, a time delay before availability of ? 50ms, and a tightening torque of 25Nm. The sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards. They are also tested for shocks and vibrations per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for immediate installation and operation in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
