Datasensing PFK1/AP-4H Sensors

The Datasensing PFK1/AP-4H Sensors are designed for precision and durability, featuring an AISI 316L stainless steel housing that ensures robust performance in demanding environments. With a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating range of 0 to 9.7mm, these sensors are ideal for proximity detection applications. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED status indicator for easy monitoring and offer complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. These sensors are available in both standard and long-distance models, with ATEX models for category 3 available upon request. They boast a high degree of protection with IP67, IP68, and IP69K ratings, making them suitable for use in harsh conditions. The sensors are designed for unshielded mounting and feature a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of 1.5kHz. The PFK1/AP-4H Sensors are compatible with a wide range of materials, with correction factors for copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. They maintain high accuracy with a repeat accuracy of less than 5% and a thermal drift of Sr under 10%. The sensors operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 200mA. Built to withstand extreme temperatures, these sensors operate from -40°C to +80°C, with the capability to endure up to 100°C for short periods during cleaning processes. They are EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards and have been tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. The sensors come with two M18x1 nuts for easy installation and are approved by CE, cULus, ECOLAB, and DIVERSY.
