The Dynapar DS616-B300 is a Hengstler absolute rotary encoder from the DS616 series, featuring a configurable code structure for precise single- and multi-turn position feedback in demanding industrial applications. It supports BiSS or SSI interfaces with RS422 electrical signaling, offering resolutions up to 22-bit single-turn and 12-bit multi-turn, absolute accuracy of ±0.01° mechanical, and integrated diagnostics including LED current sensing, single-step checks, and temperature monitoring. Designed for robustness, it provides a 10mm hub shaft option, stainless steel housing, -15°C to +120°C operating range, 100G shock resistance, 10G vibration tolerance (10-2000 Hz), and IP40 enclosure rating per EN 61326-1.
