The Baumer FADK 14U4470/S14/IO 11014499 is a high-precision sensor designed for distance measurement, featuring a measuring range of 50 to 400 mm and a beam diameter of 8 mm. It offers adjustable settings via IO-Link and a teach-in range starting from 20 mm. The device includes a green LED for power indication and a red LED to signal a soiled lens. It boasts a resolution between 100 to 1000 µm and a linearity error of ± 1.5 to 4 mm. The sensor operates with a pulsed point source LED light, emitting at a wavelength of 660 nm, and responds quickly with a time of less than 3 ms. It supports a voltage supply range of 14 to 26 VDC and consumes a maximum of 80 mA with no load. The output is analog, providing a signal from 0 to 10 VDC, and can handle a load resistance of over 100 kOhm.
