
The Baumer FEDM 08P3002/S35L 10228467 is a through beam sensor designed for precise object detection with an actual range of 2.5 m and a nominal range of 3 m. This receiver model features a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection and a red LED light indicator. It operates without sensitivity adjustment and has a quick response time of less than 2.5 ms. The sensor is powered by a 10 to 30 VDC voltage supply and consumes a typical 24 mA with a maximum voltage drop of less than 2 VDC. It supports a dark operate output function via a PNP output circuit and can handle an output current of 100 mA. Enhanced with both short circuit and reverse polarity protection, it is built with a robust anodized aluminum housing and a PC front optics. The compact design measures 8 mm in width, 58 mm in height, and 15 mm in depth, and it connects via an M8, 3-pin connector.
