
The Baumer FSE 025B4006 is a through-beam type fiber optic sensor with a smooth, cylindrical side-view sensing head. It features an actual range of 160 mm and is designed to operate within a temperature range of -25 to +70 °C. The sensor head, made of aluminum, measures 5 mm in width/diameter and 16 mm in height/length. It is equipped with an exit angle of 60° and is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm. The fiber optic cable, made of glass, is 25 cm long with a cross section of 2 mm² and a PUR jacket. The cable has a bending radius of 13.5 mm when fixed and 27 mm when mobile. This model does not allow for shortening of the fiber optics, nor does it support integrated or adaptable lenses.
