The Baumer FSE 100A2002 10258821 is a through-beam type fiber optic sensor with a smooth sensing head and a fine sleeve. It features a cylindrical smooth fiber optic head with a diameter of 1.5 mm and a length of 25 mm, made from aluminum. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to +70 °C and has an actual range of 500 mm. It is designed with a 60° exit angle and is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm. The fiber optic cable, measuring 100 cm in length and made of glass, has a cross section of 1 mm² and is encased in a PVC jacket with a diameter of 2.5 mm. The bending radius for fixed installation is 7.5 mm, and for mobile applications, it is 15 mm. This sensor does not support shortening of the fiber optics, nor does it have an integrated or adaptable lens.
