The Baumer FSF 025B2006 is a through-beam type fiber optic sensor with a smooth sensing head and a cylindrical shape. It features an actual range of 160 mm and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +250 °C. The sensor head, made of aluminum, measures 4 mm in width/diameter and 24 mm in height/length. It is designed with a fixed bending radius of 15 mm and a mobile bending radius of 30 mm. The fiber optic cable, made of glass, is 25 cm long with a cross section of 2 mm² and is encased in a brass chromium-plated jacket with a diameter of 5 mm. This model is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm but does not support lens adaptation or shortening of the fiber optics.
