Description

The Baumer FZDK 10N5101 10139966 is an intensity difference sensor with a sensing distance of 5 to 200 mm. It features a flashing light indicator for alignment or soiled lens detection, and a yellow LED light indicator. Sensitivity can be adjusted via a 270° potentiometer. The sensor is equipped with suppression of reciprocal influence and uses a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm. It has a fast response and release time of less than 1 ms. Operating on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, it consumes a maximum of 30 mA with a typical consumption of 20 mA. The output functions include light/dark operate with an NPN output circuit and a maximum output current of 100 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's dimensions are 10.4 mm in width, 27 mm in height, and 14 mm in depth, with a rectangular design and a plastic (ASA) housing. The front optics are made of PMMA. It connects via a 4-pin, 2-meter cable and is rated IP 65 for protection against dust and water, suitable for operating temperatures from -25 to +65 °C.
