The Baumer IFRM 18N17A5/S14L 11078675 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical threaded inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 500 Hz. The sensor is designed for a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum no-load current consumption of 10 mA. It includes an NPN make function (NO) output circuit with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current capacity of 200 mA. Enhanced with short circuit and reverse polarity protection, this sensor is built from brass nickel-plated housing and a PBT sensing face. It measures 18 mm in diameter and 45 mm in housing length, and connects via an M12 connector. The maximum tightening torque is 40 Nm.
