The Baumer IFRM 18P37A4/L 11111679 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and adjustable hysteresis between 3% and 20% of Sr. It features a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 500 Hz. The sensor is designed for a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 10 mA when unloaded. It includes a PNP break function (NC) output circuit, with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current capacity of 200 mA. Enhanced with both short circuit and reverse polarity protection, it is built from brass nickel-plated housing and a PBT sensing face. The sensor measures 18 mm in diameter and 65 mm in housing length, and it connects via a 2-meter cable. It can be securely fastened with a maximum tightening torque of 40 Nm and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. This durable sensor is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
