The Baumer IFRR 12P17T1/L-9 11016187 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor designed for washdown environments, featuring a 4 mm nominal sensing distance and a hysteresis of 2 to 15% of Sr. It includes a red LED output indicator and is equipped with a PNP make function (NO) output circuit. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 10 mA and an output current of 200 mA, which reduces to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. It offers short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and is constructed with an LCP sensing face and a stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) housing. The device measures 12 mm in diameter and 55 mm in length, with a cable PVC connection type of 2 m. It can withstand operating temperatures from -40 to +80 °C and cleaning temperatures up to 100 °C for 30 minutes per day. The sensor is highly durable, rated IP 68/69K & proTect+ for protection, and can resist significant vibration and shock as per EN 61373 and EN 60068 standards.
