Description
The Baumer IFRR 18P37T1/S14L-9 11013636 is a quasi-flush, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor designed for outdoor and washdown environments. It features a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm with a hysteresis of 2 to 15% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a red LED output indicator and operates with a PNP break function (NC) output circuit. It supports a switching frequency of 500 Hz and can handle a voltage supply range of 6 to 30 VDC. The sensor's maximum current consumption is 10 mA with no load, and it has a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC. It can deliver an output current of 200 mA, which reduces to less than 100 mA at cleaning temperatures. The sensor is built with a sensing face made of LCP and a robust stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) housing, measuring 18 mm in diameter and 60 mm in length. It connects via an M12 connector and can withstand a tightening torque of up to 55 Nm. Designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to +80 °C and withstand cleaning temperatures between 80 to 100 °C for 30 minutes per day, it is highly durable with protection class IP 68/69K and proTect+. Additionally, the sensor offers excellent resistance to vibration and shock, complying with EN 61373: 2010 (category 3) standards. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, ensuring reliable operation in challenging conditions. The sensor is Ecolab approved, highlighting its suitability for hygienic applications.
