Description
The Baumer IGYX 08P17B3/L is a flush-mounted inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and an assured sensing distance of 1.6 mm. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of Sr within a temperature range of 0 to +60 °C and a hysteresis of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a red LED output indicator and operates at a switching frequency of 3 kHz. It requires a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 15 mA with no load. The output circuit is a PNP make function (NO) with a voltage drop of less than 2.5 VDC and an output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's design is cylindrical threaded, made from stainless steel with a PBT red sensing face, and measures 8 mm in diameter and 30 mm in housing length. It connects via a 2-meter cable and requires a maximum tightening torque of 5 Nm. Operating temperatures range from -25 to +75 °C, and it is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
