Description

The Baumer IR12.P04F-F40.NO1Z.7BCV 11119438 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4 mm and an assured sensing distance of up to 81% of Sn. It features a temperature drift of ±10% of the real sensing distance, which itself varies by ±10% of Sn, and a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a red LED output indicator and supports a correction factor of 100% for various metals including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper. It operates on a voltage supply range of 5 to 36 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 12 mA when no load is present. The output circuit is an NPN make function (NO) with a maximum output current of 200 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and can withstand operating temperatures from -25 to +75 °C. The sensor's housing is made of brass nickel-plated material with a PBT sensing face, and it is designed to resist vibrations and shocks as per IEC standards. It has a protection class of IP 67, making it suitable for various industrial applications. The sensor is connected via a 2-meter cable and has a total weight of 71 g.
