The Baumer IR18.D05S-F60.UA1Z.7BO/B007 11140166 is a high-precision inductive sensor designed for flush mounting with a measuring distance of 2 to 5 mm. It offers exceptional resolution, less than 0.005 mm statically and less than 0.01 mm dynamically, with a repeat accuracy of 0.015 mm. The sensor maintains linearity with an error of ± 350 µm and has minimal temperature drift, ± 2% at temperatures from 0 to +60 °C and ± 4% from -10 to +70 °C. It features a fast response time of less than 2 ms, operates on a 12 to 36 VDC supply, and consumes a maximum of 10 mA with no load. Output is provided via an analog 1 to 9 VDC circuit, and it supports a load resistance of over 4000 Ohm. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's cylindrical threaded design is made from brass nickel-plated housing and PBT sensing face, measuring 18 mm in diameter and 60 mm in length.
