Description

The Baumer IR18.P06F-11117735 is a robust, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 6 mm and a flush mounting type. It features a universal correction factor for various metals like mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper, ensuring consistent detection performance across materials. The sensor is equipped with an NPN normally open output, LED red output indicator, and offers protection features including short circuit and reverse polarity protection. It operates within a voltage supply range of 5 to 36 VDC and can handle an output current of up to 200 mA. The sensor's housing is made of brass nickel-plated with a PBT sensing face, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental conditions with an IP 67 protection class.
