Description

The Baumer IR18.P06F-11119459 is a robust, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor designed for flush mounting. It features a nominal sensing distance of 6 mm with a real sensing distance that varies by ±10% and an assured sensing distance of up to 81% of the nominal. The sensor is equipped with a red LED output indicator and offers a universal correction factor for various metals like mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper. It operates within a voltage supply range of 5 to 36 VDC and supports a maximum output current of 200 mA. The sensor includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, ensuring durability and reliability in challenging industrial environments. It is constructed from brass nickel-plated housing and PBT sensing face, with an IP67 protection class, making it suitable for use in conditions ranging from -25 to +75 °C. The sensor can withstand significant vibration and shock as per IEC standards. It connects via a 2-meter cable and is designed to handle a tightening torque of up to 40 Nm.
