Description

The Baumer IR18.P12S-F50.PC1Z.7BCV 11149166 is a flush-mounted, cylindrical threaded proximity sensor with an enhanced distance feature. It offers a nominal sensing distance of 12 mm and operates with a temperature drift of ±10%. The sensor has a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr and includes a red LED output indicator. It is designed to work with various materials, having correction factors of 100% for mild steel, 70% for stainless steel, and 40% for aluminum. The switching frequency is 400 Hz, and it requires a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC with a maximum current consumption of 10 mA at no load. The output circuit is a PNP break function (NC) with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 100 mA. It features short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing is made of brass nickel-plated material, and the sensing face is PBT. Dimensions include an 18 mm diameter and a 50 mm housing length, with a 2 m cable connection. It can be tightened with a maximum torque of 40 Nm and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. The sensor is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion.
