The Baumer IWRR 18I97T4/S14 11016445 is a robust sensor designed for precise distance measurement in harsh outdoor and washdown environments. It features a quasi-flush mounting and offers a measuring range of 0 to 7 mm with a high resolution of less than 0.005 mm statically and less than 0.01 mm dynamically. The sensor ensures repeat accuracy of 0.015 mm and a linearity error of ±350 µm. It is equipped with a temperature drift of ±10% FS and operates efficiently within a voltage supply range of 15 to 30 VDC. The analog output of 4 to 20 mA is protected against short circuits and reverse polarity. Constructed with a stainless steel housing and an LCP sensing face, it meets IP 68/69K and proTect+ standards, making it suitable for extreme conditions, including temperatures from -40 to +70 °C and temporary cleaning temperatures up to 85 °C. The sensor is also vibration and shock resistant, adhering to EN 61373 and EN 60068 standards. It connects via an M12 connector and is designed for easy integration with a cylindrical threaded design.
