Description
The Baumer OG020U.R-GW1O.7WL is a through beam sensor designed for precise object detection with a minimum size capability of 0.4 mm and repeat accuracy of 0.02 mm. It features a fast response and release time of less than 0.1 ms, and a hysteresis of less than 0.1 mm. The sensor is equipped with a potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment and uses a pulsed red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm. It offers multiple switching frequencies including 5000 Hz, 1500 Hz, 250 Hz, and 8000 Hz, and includes a yellow LED light indicator. The sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 10 to 30 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 30 mA. It supports both light and dark operate switching and features a push-pull / IO-Link output circuit. The sensor is built with a die-cast zinc housing, measures 40 mm in width, 50 mm in height, and has a fork width of 20 mm. It is designed for durability with short circuit and reverse polarity protection, an operating temperature range of -25 to +60 °C, and an IP 67 protection class. The sensor connects via an M8, 3-pin connector.
