The Baumer UNAM 12P3912/S14 10158527 is an ultrasonic sensor with a scanning range of 40 to 400 mm and a far limit scanning range of 60 to 400 mm. It features a typical hysteresis of 4% Sde and a repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm. The sensor has a temperature drift of less than 0.18% Sde/K and both response and release times under 25 ms. Operating at a sonic frequency of 290 kHz, it includes external Teach-in adjustment and a target indication flashing for alignment aid. The output is indicated by a green LED and the sensor operates on a voltage supply range of 12 to 30 VDC with a maximum current consumption of 35 mA. It supports a PNP break function (NC) output circuit with an output current of 200 mA and a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC. Additional features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection, a cylindrical threaded brass nickel-plated housing, and an M12 connector. The sensor measures 12 mm in width/diameter and 70 mm in height/length, operates within a temperature range of -10 to +60 °C, and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and water ingress.
