Description

The Baumer UR18.DA5.2-IA1B.9SF is a high-precision ultrasonic sensor with a scanning range of 20 to 1500 mm, offering repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm and resolution under 0.3 mm. It features a quick response and release time of less than 70 ms, and is equipped with temperature and power-up drift compensation. Operating at a sonic frequency of 200 kHz, it allows for easy configuration via qTeach and line-Teach methods. The sensor includes LED indicators for power and operation status, and is housed in a durable stainless steel and TR90 body with a PEEK-coated active face. It supports a voltage supply range of 12 to 30 VDC and has a typical current consumption of 35 mA. Output is provided through a 4 to 20 mA / 20 to 4 mA current output signal. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
