Description
The Baumer UR18.DA5.2-UA1B.9SF is a high-precision ultrasonic sensor with a scanning range of 20 to 1500 mm and repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm. It features a resolution of less than 0.3 mm and quick response and release times of less than 70 ms. The sensor operates at a sonic frequency of 200 kHz and includes temperature and power-up drift compensation. It offers various adjustment options including qTeach and line-Teach, and has visual indicators through yellow and green LEDs. The sensor is powered by a 12 to 30 VDC supply, consumes approximately 35 mA, and provides a voltage output signal of 0 to 10 V or 10 to 0 V. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and is housed in a durable stainless steel and TR90 casing with a PEEK-coated active face. The cylindrical threaded design measures 18 mm in diameter and 64 mm in length, and connects via an M12 5-pin connector. Suitable for harsh environments, it operates between -25 to +65 °C, can be stored from -40 to +75 °C, and is rated IP 69 for protection against ingress, with the connection rated at IP 67.
