Datasensing AC1/AP-3A Sensors

The Datasensing AC1/AP-3A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring a smooth stainless steel housing with a compact Ø4 mm diameter, these sensors are equipped with a 360° visible yellow output LED for easy status monitoring. Choose between models with a 2 m PVC cable or an M8 connector, both offering IP67 protection for robust performance in challenging environments. With a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 4.5x4.5mm FE360. They offer excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel, ensuring versatile application. The sensors maintain high accuracy with a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. Designed for proximity functions, the AC1/AP-3A features a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 100mA, with minimal leakage and output voltage drop. Built for durability, the sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, along with protection against inductive loads. The shielded mounting and AISI303 stainless steel construction ensure long-lasting performance, even in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. Certified with CE and cULus approvals and compliant with IEC 60947-5-2 for EMC compatibility, these sensors are also tested for vibration and shock resistance according to IEC standards.
