Datasensing AE1/AN-1A8Q Sensors

The Datasensing AE1/AN-1A8Q Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M8 shielded design, this sensor operates with a NO/NPN output and is equipped with a flexible 2-meter PVC cable for versatile installation. It offers a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, making it ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The sensor's performance is enhanced by a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). With a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy below 5%, it ensures consistent operation. The sensor's hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and it supports a switching frequency of 5kHz. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, it maintains a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensor is protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. Constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, it is designed for durability and ease of installation with a tightening torque of 3Nm. The sensor is CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. It includes two M8x1 nuts for mounting and offers mechanical protection rated at IP67, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
