The Datasensing AE1/AP-1FAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring an M8 shielded design with NO/PNP connection, these sensors are suitable for hazardous environments, certified with II 3G Ex nA IIC T5 and II 3D Ex tD A22 IP67 T90°C ratings. They offer a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, making them ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The sensors exhibit excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). With a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy below 5%, they ensure reliable performance. The sensors operate at a switching frequency of 5kHz and support an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. They feature a yellow LED indicator for output state, and are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection.
