The Datasensing AE1/AP-2FDP Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M8 unshielded NO/PNP housing with a 65mm length and M8 connection, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 2.02mm. Ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, they provide excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.43), aluminium (0.51), brass (0.59), and stainless steel (0.83). With a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy below 5% at 24V and 23°C, these sensors ensure consistent performance. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and they support a switching frequency of 5kHz. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they consume a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and support a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors feature a yellow LED indicator for output state, and they are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. Constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, they are designed for unshielded mounting and come with an IP67 mechanical protection rating. The sensors are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, they are suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
