The Datasensing AE1/AP-3F Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature an extremely compact design with a metal housing, ensuring durability and robustness. The 360° visible LED status indicator provides clear operational feedback, while the IP67 housing protection guarantees resistance against dust and water ingress. For environments requiring additional safety measures, ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request. These sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages, with options for both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing. The nominal sensing distance is 2mm, with an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm, making them ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AE1/AP-3F Sensors function as proximity sensors with a PNP output type and normally open (NO) output function. They support a switching frequency of 5kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. Constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, these sensors are designed for shielded mounting and can withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. They are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards. The sensors come with two M8x1 nuts for easy installation and are compatible with M8 plug connections. With a weight of just 20g and a tightening torque of 3Nm, the AE1/AP-3F Sensors are a reliable choice for various industrial sensing applications.
