Datasensing AE6/AP-2F4W Sensors

The Datasensing AE6/AP-2F4W Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a compact M8 short unshielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 2.02mm. They are optimized for standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.43), aluminium (0.51), brass (0.59), and stainless steel (0.83). The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors function as proximity detectors with a PNP output type and NO output function. They support a switching frequency of 5kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The no-load supply current is ? 10mA, while the load current can reach up to 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and feature a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. Built with robust AISI303 stainless steel housing and PBT active head material, these sensors are designed for durability and reliability. They offer short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The unshielded mounting design is complemented by an M8 plug connection and a tightening torque of 3Nm. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2, and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, these sensors have dimensions of M8 x 1 / L = 40mm and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, with an IP67 mechanical protection rating.
