Datasensing AE6/AP-3A Sensors

The Datasensing AE6/AP-3A Sensors are designed for precision and durability, featuring an extremely reduced measure and a robust metal housing. With a 360° visible LED status indicator, these sensors ensure easy monitoring and are protected by an IP67 housing, making them suitable for harsh environments. ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request for specialized applications. These sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages and are available in both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing options. The AE6/AP-3A Sensors have a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.62mm, with a standard target size of 8x8mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.35), aluminium (0.43), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.78). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors are designed for proximity functions with a PNP output type and NO output function. Operating at a switching frequency of 5kHz, the sensors require an operating voltage of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. They have a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The yellow LED output state indicator provides clear status updates, and the sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The AE6/AP-3A Sensors are shielded for mounting and have dimensions of M8 x 1 with a length of 35.5mm, weighing 45g. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a PBT active head material, they are designed to withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. The sensors come with CE UR approvals and EMC compatibility with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, ensuring reliability in various applications. They are also resistant to shocks and vibrations, complying with Vibration IEC 60068-2-6 and Shock IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, these sensors offer mechanical protection with an IP67 rating, making them a reliable choice for industrial environments.
