The Datasensing AE6/AP-3F Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature an extremely compact M08 DC design with a robust metal housing, ensuring durability and longevity. The 360° visible LED status indicator provides clear operational feedback, while the IP67 housing protection guarantees resistance against dust and water ingress. For environments requiring additional safety measures, ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request. These sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They are available in both standard and long-distance models, with options for standard and short body housing to suit various installation needs. The nominal sensing distance is 2mm, with an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm, and they are optimized for a standard target size of 8x8mm FE360. The AE6/AP-3F Sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and NO output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are designed to minimize thermal drift and maintain repeat accuracy, ensuring consistent performance. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, these sensors are built to withstand harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. They are EMC compatible and meet IEC 60947-5-2 standards, with additional shock and vibration resistance as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Each sensor comes with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting, making them a reliable choice for proximity sensing in demanding environments.
